About the Role
Gilead Sanders is seeking independent consultants in the field of innovation, organizational agility, strategy, and business model design to work with a variety of clients in the financial, not-for-profit, healthcare and manufacturing sectors. You will serve as an SME leading projects and training clients in the areas of strategy, New Ways of Working, the customer experience, and business model innovation.
You will work with incredibly diverse organizations, from financial services firms, healthcare companies, governments agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and manufacturing firms.
You will serve as the project lead interfacing with the client, employees, and strategic partners in developing strategic roadmaps for the transformation process.
You will interface with our strategic partners in coming up with strategies and recommendations for our clients’ challenges and meeting their success criteria for transformation.
You will provide training to employees and leadership teams in the areas of agility, innovation, and business model strategy.
You will join a team of expert consultants on each engagement.
You will work closely with clients to identify needs, coordinate teams, and build capacity across their organizations.
You will contribute to data gathering using a wide variety of methods: one-on-one interviews, focus groups, surveys, organizational analysis, strategic foresight environmental scanning, and custom solutions.
You will synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to build recommendations and action plans.
You will create and deliver ideas that make a difference and present your recommendations to clients in writing and presentations.
You will always be looking for ways that we can improve, sharing your suggestions with the team, training, and mentoring others, and creating internal documentation.
Requirements
You have experience running innovation projects/programs.
You feel comfortable navigating and facilitating various groups of stakeholders (public and private).
Designing and facilitating different strategy and innovation programs is what gets you out of bed.
You have experience in applying Design Thinking and/or Lean Startup principles in a project context.
You are an expert facilitator who can work with individuals and groups to build shared understanding and manage complex dialogue.
You have strong business analytical skills and can challenge a business case of a new venture, on-the-spot.
You have a background or work experience in Consulting /Business/ Design/ Innovation/ OR equivalent.
You are a future-thinker and generate new ideas with a clear business model.
You can formulate your own opinion, backed up with arguments and confidence.
You feel comfortable in the fuzzy front end of an innovation process, where at the same time you bring structure and can manage progress in innovation projects or open innovation challenges.
You have what it takes to thrive in our team: eagerness to learn, an open mindset, a team spirit, an entrepreneurial attitude and a ‘raise the bar’ mentality.
You can keep your head cool and adapt when last-minute changes are needed (we'll support each other when this happens).
You are ready to join our remote project team as a part-time or full-time contractor.
